Located between Piazza San Marco and Rialto, "Ai Mercanti" restaurant boasts a thirty-year tradition in Venetian catering.
The cuisine proposes international dishes in which the chef and patron, Nadia Locatello, gives free play to her fantasy, providing creative recipes which are combined with raw materials of the region, always searching first-quality products; actually, the fish always is caught in the sea, without forgetting the tradition in which the typical dishes of Venetian cuisine always find room.
The menu is changed once every two months, following the seasonal products.
The wine list offers a large number of labels from every region in Italy, a small room dedicated to french wines and to the meditation ones and to the Sauternes; very important the spirits section and a selection of made in Italy beers.
The restaurant has a mainly hall, a privé where have dinner in a perfect solitude, a very comfortable small hall, where during the winter a plasma fireplace could warm you.
In summer the service will be also outside, where you could have dinner in a small campiello, in a typical context in which tradition and innovation merge.
